Il importe d\u2019abord de cerner les enjeux philosophiques. D\u00e8s avant les promesses scientifiques d\u2019un homme augment\u00e9, prolong\u00e9 voire amortel ou immortel, la confrontation \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9preuve de la mort peut \u00eatre per\u00e7ue soit comme un vecteur d\u2019intensification de la vie, soit comme une limite \u00e0 d\u00e9passer (de fa\u00e7on d\u2019abord imaginaire).
